Percival joined Saints from Worcester earlier this year |
Northampton forward James Percival has undergone a successful operation to stabilise his fractured neck. The England Under-21 lock suffered the injury in a pre-season friendly with Munster and had surgery at Oxford's Radcliffe Infirmary on Tuesday.
Saints rugby director Budge Poutney said: "He has a little weakness in the left arm but the surgeon is happy this will come right in rehabilitation.
"We are also pretty sure he will make a full return to rugby."
