Fanolua has been a regular at centre |
Gloucester's Terry Fanolua hopes to be fit for the start of the new Guinness Premiership season next month after having surgery on his damaged knee. The 31-year-old centre, who has scored 34 tries in 142 matches for the Cherry and Whites, was injured while training with the Samoan national squad.
He will miss his side's remaining pre-season games against Calvisano, Doncaster and Viadana.
Gloucester kick off the league campaign against Worcester on 4 September.
