Jonny Wilkinson in action for Newcastle
Wilkinson is easing his way back after another injury set back
Newcastle Falcons coach Rob Andrew says Jonny Wilkinson's hour-long run out against Leeds Tykes on Monday was perfect for the England fly-half.

Wilkinson, who is returning after long-term injury, replaced Epi Taione when the Tongan was hurt after 20 minutes.

Andrew said: "It's been ideal for Jonny. He was ready to start, there's no doubt about that.

"But it's just been the right thing to do to have him on the bench for these last three games."
