 Tindall is in demand |
Bath coach John Connolly has urged the club to tie England centre Mike Tindall to a new deal as soon as possible. Tindall is out of contract at the end of the season with his agent already reporting interest from other clubs.
"Mike is a guy we must keep at Bath - he's at the right age now and is very important to our future success," Connolly told BBC Radio Bristol.
"It needs to be sorted out from both our points of view so we all know where we're heading."
Tindall and fellow internationals Danny Grewcock and Steve Borthwick are all likely to return to the Bath side for Saturday's Heineken Cup match with Treviso in Italy.
But they will be without captain Jonathan Humphreys, number eight Isaac Fea'unati and flanker Michael Lipman.
In Fea'unati's absence, Gareth Delve is likely to start at number eight, with Lee Mears taking over at hooker and James Scaysbrook starting on the open-side flank.
England prop Matt Stevens, who has been missing with a tricep injury, could also return on the bench.
