Bezuidenhout is looking forward to playing in the Premiership |
Gloucester have signed South Africa international Christo Bezuidenhout for the 2004/2005 season. The prop was part of the Springbok 2003 World Cup squad in Australia and has been an ever-present in the Bulls' Super 12 campaign this year.
Director of rugby Nigel Melville told Gloucester's official website: "Christo is a great signing for the club. He is an international-class loosehead prop.
"He is a big guy and has the right experience for the Premiership."
Bezuidenhout added: "I'm really keen to meet up with everyone at Gloucester and start playing in the Zurich Premiership.
"The English league is a very tough competition, and the training regimes and set-ups are very similar to the Super 12."
Earlier this month Gloucester lost England loose-head Trevor Woodman, who has joined Sale Sharks.
