Leicester remain on course to snatch the final Heineken Cup spot after reaching the Zurich Wildcard final with a crushing victory over Harlequins. The Tigers will face Gloucester, or Sale if Wasps win the Heineken Cup, at Twickenham on 29 May.
Jaco van der Westhuizen's score and a penalty try helped them to a 23-7 half-time lead, and three more tries followed early in the second half.
But Quins rallied well, fly-half Andy Dunne grabbing two of their four tries.
They must now win next Saturday's Parker Pen Challenge Cup final against Montferrand if they are to feature in next season's premier European competition.
Leicester will start favourites for the Wildcard final regardless of the opposition after continuing their resurgence under new head coach John Wells.
They have yet to lose in nine matches since he took control from Dean Richards, and again showed signs of rediscovering their former dominance.
Flanker Martin Corry and scrum-half Harry Ellis both caught the eye with England's southern hemisphere tour party due to be announced on Monday.
Corry was outstanding for Tigers |
Once van der Westhuizen had charged down Dunne's clearing kick for the opening try after 16 minutes, the outcome was rarely in doubt. Goode's conversion, allied to two penalties, established a 13-0 lead that was briefly threatened when Dunne finished off a kick-and-chase from Gavin Duffy.
But after Goode had kicked another penalty Leicester's dominant pack asserted themselves to earn a penalty try before the interval as the Quins scrum back-pedalled.
A 23-7 half-time lead quickly became 40-7 with three tries within 10 minutes on the resumption.
First Neil Back got himself at the tail of a driving maul after a classic line-out catch-and-drive.
Geordan Murphy then finished off a sweeping move sparked by hooker George Chuter and continued by centre Daryl Gibson.
Clever play from Austin Healey saw Harry Ellis collect the Tigers' fifth try after Scott Bemand's attempted clearance landed in his lap.
Down and seemingly out, Quins rallied impressively in the final quarter after Dunne sliced through a gap for his second try.
Ugo Monye raced onto Will Greenwood's inviting pass for a scorching third before Greenwood further reduced the gap after Duffy's break-out.
But Leicester had the final word, the departing van der Westhuizen signing off with a smartly-struck drop goal.
