 Ross has penned a two-year deal |
Leeds have handed new contracts to five members of their squad, including Scottish fly-half Gordon Ross and Welsh back-row forward Alix Popham. Ross and Popham have both agreed two-year deals while front-row trio Mike Shelley, Matt Holt and Rob Rawlinson have signed one-year contracts.
"I am delighted that all five players have agreed new deals with the club," said Tykes rugby director Phil Davies.
"They are big parts of taking this club forward over the coming years."
Davies added: "I am particularly pleased to have re-signed Mike Shelley. Mike was the first player I signed when I came to the club, and he embodies everything we are about here at Leeds.
"Gordon and Alix have proved their international class in the past two years, and we are hoping they can develop even further over the next two years."
Popham said he chose to stay at Headingley despite being approached by a number of Welsh clubs.

"At this stage of my career, it feels like the right thing to do," he said.
Ross had been linked with a move back to Scotland following the announcement that national coach Matt Williams would only select players based north of the border.
But Ross still hopes to play international rugby in the future.
"Hopefully I can work with the coaches here to keep improving my game and force my way back into the Scotland reckoning," he said.
