Higgins fitness boost
Andrew Higgins
Higgins could be back in light training next week
Bath centre Andrew Higgins could be back playing in three weeks after learning that he will not require surgery on his damaged ankle.

Higgins was hurt during Bath's opening pre-season tour game in South Africa and was originally expected to be on the sidelines for two months.

However tests have shown that only one ligament was damaged and Higgins will only require rest and physio.

"It is great news for Andy and for us," said Bath head coach John Connolly.
