Worcester crowned champions
Worcester were crowned champions of National League One after beating Bristol Shoguns 68-15.

The 10-try win extended their unbeaten record to 24 games and they passed 1,000 points in the process.

But Worcester will have to wait until Monday to find out if they will replace Rotherham in the Zurich Premiership when the RFU inspect their stadium.

Gary Trueman, Chris Garrard and Duncan Roke all scored two tries in the emphatic victory.

Worcester chairman Cecil Duckworth is confident his team will be accepted into the Zurich Premiership.

"I think that the RFU report will just be a formality as we have a ground capable of taking 8,500 next season," said Duckworth.

"Rotherham didn't make a very good job of their time in the Premiership, but I don't anticipate similar problems.

"We have coaches with Premiership experience and I would expect a mid-table finish to our first season."
