Boer signs Gloucester deal
Jake Boer
Skipper Jake Boer is hoping to win more silverware with Gloucester
Gloucester skipper Jake Boer has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

The powerful 28-year-old South African flanker is in his fourth season at Kingsholm and has played in 111 competitive games, scoring 19 tries.

Boer, who arrived at Gloucester after a stint with London Irish, helped the team win the Zurich Championship in 2002 and the Powergen Cup last season.

He said: "You get to know what the winning feeling is. That's one of the reasons I'm pledging my future here."
