Richards is a Tigers legend

Richards left the Tigers last month after winning four league titles and two Heineken Cups in seven years.

Now he is waiting until his settlement with the club has been sorted out before deciding his next career move.

He told BBC Radio Leicester: "I'm not sure yet. There are a couple of options that have come my way, but I'm not going to jump in with both feet."

Richards added: "I'd like to spend a bit of time with my family, and that's what I'm doing at this moment in time.

"The decision I make will be based on what my family and I think is right, rather than just what's best for Dean Richards."
