Luger eyes comeback
Dan Luger is hoping for a speedy comeback
Dan Luger is hoping for a speedy comeback
England wing Dan Luger has pencilled in a Harlequins second team game as the latest target on his comeback trail.

Luger, sidelined since late last season because of a serious knee injury, made a brief second XV appearance earlier this month.

He has since experienced a slight reaction to his knee from training but should be involved when Quins tackle Wasps' second string on 16 December.

Flanker Pat Sanderson, another long-term injury victim, is on course to feature in the same match - while centre Nick Greenstock (ankle ligaments) faces another fortnight sidelined.

Quins are unlikely to name their side for Saturday's Zurich Premiership home clash against Saracens until Friday afternoon, at the earliest.
