Dallaglio upbeat at Wycombe move
Wasps captain Lawrence Dallaglio is looking forward to playing at Adams Park
Dallaglio says Wasps must improve their home form
Lawrence Dallaglio has backed Wasps' ground switch to Wycombe, claiming the stadium will be one of the best in the Zurich Premiership.

Wasps have moved from Queens Park Rangers' Loftus Road to Wycombe Wanderers' Adams Park, and will play their first game there on 7 September.

I have no doubts that it is going to be a great success
Lawrence Dallaglio

The club were forced to relocate after being replaced by Fulham as tenants at Loftus Road.

But with season ticket sales up and club officials confident of filling the 10,000 capacity stadium, Dallaglio believes the future looks bright for Wasps.

"This stadium is right up there among the very best in the Premiership and everyone should welcome that addition," said Wasps skipper Dallaglio.

"I have no doubts that it is going to be a great success.

"I am confident that we will see big crowds here - it is a rugby community, which wasn't always the case in London."

Dallaglio believes support from the Adams Park crowd can help Wasps improve on last season's disappointing seventh-placed finish.

"It is very important that we win the majority of our home games, if not all of them, and I feel that we will get the support that creates the right sort of atmosphere here," Dallaglio explained.

"The squad has a nice balance of youth and experience, but consistency is the key and winning your home games is paramount."

Wasps strengthened their side during the summer, persuading former British Lions and Wales scrum-half Rob Howley to move from Cardiff.

With Dallaglio now fully recovered from a serious knee injury, Wasps are hopeful of challenging for a Heineken Cup place.

Wasps open their league season with a trip to Newcastle on Sunday before making their Adams Park debut against Bristol seven days later.
