Codling replaces Bristol forward Andrew Sheridan, who has a knee injury, in the 23-man group. Codling, 28, made his Quins debut in August 2000 having previously had spells with Blackheath, Richmond, Bedford and Neath. England manager Clive Woodward has been hit by a succession of late-season injury problems as he builds his squad with an eye on the summer tour to Argentina. Already out with injuries are established internationals Lawrence Dallaglio, Iain Balshaw and Mike Tindall. Woodward is set to announce his starting line-up next Wednesday for the non-cap fixture on 26 May. But he will not include any Leicester or Sale players because of those clubs' respective European final appointments next weekend. The young squad contains 12 uncapped players including Gloucester wing James Simpson-Daniel, Bristol back Phil Christophers and Orrell fly-half Phil Jones. The match against the much-revered touring side - which will include a host of the world's biggest names in rugby - has sold over 55,000 tickets. England play two Tests in Argentina on 17 and 22 June. | See also: Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Other top English stories: Links to more English stories are at the foot of the page. | ||
