Pontypridd 47-8 CaerphillyInjury-hit, under-strength Pontypridd kept up their challenge to finish in the top places in the Welsh Premiership with a convincing five-try win over Caerphilly.
Once more it was full-back Brett Davey who stole the honours at Sardis Road on Friday, his 25-point tally including a try, four conversions and four penalties.
Pontypridd took the lead in the second minute with an angled 33-metre penalty from Davey, who then ran in a try against his former club which he converted himself.
Davey extended the home side's lead in the 18th minute with a 30m penalty, but Caerphilly reduced the deficit with a 35m goal from outside-half Justin Thomas.

However, before half-time Shaun James added a try that was converted by Davey, who also kicked two penalties to give his side a 26-3 interval advantage.
After withstanding a spell of pressure from the visitors after the break, Paul John went over, with Davey again adding the conversion.
Caerphilly cut the gap with a try from Sione Tuipuloto but tries from wings Gareth Wyatt and Richard Johnston, followed by conversions from Davey and John, put the home side out of sight.
