Stoke RUFC have won the Midlands Intermediate Cup after a tense 13-10 victory over Market Rasen & Louth at Hartwell Lane on Saturday. Stoke led 6-0 at half time with two penalties from Steve Talbot, although the visitors responded with two tries just after the interval. But prop Rich Brown went over for a decisive score to secure a Stoke win. Stoke have qualified for the national semi-final and are now just one win away from a final at Twickenham.
