Mark van Gisbergen kicked six penalties to hand Wasps victory over Bath in a lacklustre LV= Cup encounter.

The New Zealander saw his first effort of the day come back off the post, but from then on made no mistake.

Sam Vesty kicked three penalties for Bath, who threatened a comeback when Ben Skirving powered over the line with just five minutes left.

Bath's efforts could have been rewarded with Jack Cuthbert's long-range penalty, but his late kick went wide.
