Rayer has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the weekend |
Bedford Blues boss Mike Rayer has challenged his players to show their hammering of Plymouth was no fluke. The Blues head to Rotherham on Sunday off the back of their 51-3 Championship victory over Albion last weekend. Rayer told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It's about backing up the performance of last weekend and seeing if we can do it away from Goldington Road. "We traditionally play well at our home ground and we've got to get on a bus and front up and get a performance." The fortunes of the two sides were notably different last season, with Rayer's men securing a play-off berth and the Titans escaping the relegation shoot-out. | I've played and coached against them on a few occasions and I've never had an easy game against them. But the Bedford boss is taking nothing for granted. "I feel they're a better side than where they ended up," he said. "Even though the table will say they ended up in ninth place they were better than that. "I've played and coached against them on a few occasions and I've never had an easy game against them. They're a proud lot up there." The Blues have no fresh injury concerns for the clash and have also confirmed the registration of full-back Edd Thrower.
