Gio Aplon scored two tries and Morne Steyn kicked 15 points as world champions South Africa crushed France 42-17 in Cape Town on Saturday. Tries from Pierre Spies, Aplon and Gurthro Steenkamp helped the Boks into a 25-10 half-time lead, Aurelien Rougerie grabbing a try for France. After the break Aplon scored a length of the field try for South Africa. Francois Louw added the fifth try for the Boks before Marc Andreu's late consolation for the visitors.
