Strettle has featured for England Saxons this season |
Saracens have signed England winger David Strettle from Harlequins. The 26-year-old, capped six times by his country, will move to Vicarage Road for the start of the 2010/11 season. Fellow Englishmen Richard Wigglesworth and Matt Stevens, Scotland flanker Kelly Brown and Tongan prop Soane Tonga'uiha have already joined. "The final piece in our jigsaw is a top-class wing, and we are delighted to have signed David," said Sarries director of rugby Brendan Venter. "He's exactly the kind of character who will thrive in our environment," he told the club's website. "We are confident he will become a key player for Saracens, and England." Strettle added: "Everybody in rugby can see there is something special happening at Saracens. I am looking forward to being part of it."
