England Women ran in nine tries as they routed Scotland 51-0 to remain in the hunt for a record-breaking fifth consecutive Six Nations title.

Worcester's Amber Penrith, Richmond's Fiona Pocock and Lichfield's Emily Scarratt all scored a brace of tries.

Heather Fisher, Jo McGilchrist and Rebecca Essex also went over.

England head coach Gary Street said: "Scotland competed well for the whole 80 minutes but really our quality was telling in the end."
