Harrogate Rugby Union club winger Stephen Parsons has made history by being the first player from the club to represent the England Counties XV. The 24-year old is in England's team to face their Ireland counterparts at Stourton Park, Stourbridge on Friday. Harrogate first team manager Graham Siswick told BBC Radio York: "It's a great honour for him and a great honour for the club as well. "We're very proud that Steve's been selected and I'm sure he'll do well." Sizwick added: "It's the first time we've had a Harrogate player representing England Counties. "He's a capable, strong, quick guy on the wing who does damage in every game he plays. "I'm sure the Irish are going to feel the impact of his input into the game for sure." England Counties v AIB Ireland Club (Friday, 26 February, kick-off 1930 GMT).
