Ireland full-back Rob Kearney doubtful for England game

Ireland's Rob Kearney was sidelined by a knee injury in Paris

Rob Kearney is Ireland's main injury doubt for their next RBS Six Nations match against England on 27 February.

The Leinster full-back had to go off with a knee injury during the first half of Saturday's 33-10 defeat against France in Paris.

Kearney had a scan on Sunday which revealed a medial ligament strain.

Skipper Brian O'Driscoll is expected to recover from a bruised knee and Leo Cullen and John Hayes are also likely to get over slight knocks.

Cullen twisted his right ankle but there is no serious damage and Hayes took a blow to the head.

The Irish starting 15 from the Paris game will come together this week for a short camp in Cork.

The replacements will return to their provinces for selection in the next round of Magners League games this weekend.
