James Simpson-Daniel showed some nice touches for Gloucester
Gloucester recovered from a poor first half performance to beat Glasgow and move off the bottom of Heineken Cup Pool Two in the process.
Gloucester trailed 6-0 at the break to a Dan Parks penalty and drop-goal.
But two Nicky Robinson penalties levelled matters before Charlie Sharples powered over out wide.
Robinson added a third penalty and Alex Brown rounded off a rousing comeback when he dived over in the same corner with 10 minutes remaining.
Gloucester boss Bryan Redpath has had a difficult time since taking the reins at Kingsholm.
He recently revealed he has been getting advice from Lions supremo Ian McGeechan as he attempts to improve the fortunes of his inconsistent side, but neither man would have been impressed by a dire performance from the Cherry and Whites in the first 40 minutes.
Leading 6-0 at half-time, Glasgow must have believed a second victory in this year's group stage was on the cards.
The Scots dominated the breakdown, preventing Gloucester from developing any attacking momentum, and they took the lead when Andy Hazell was sin-binned for a blatant offside at a ruck after a rampaging counter-attack from Richie Vernon.
Parks landed the penalty and popped over a drop-goal for the visitors and Gloucester trooped off at the break with boos and cries of "what a load of rubbish" ringing in their ears.
The half-time team talk must have been to the point because the hosts were a different outfit after the break.
They started to outmuscle Glasgow up front and with decent possession their talented backs were able to show their ability.
Robinson levelled matters with two penalties and the hosts took the lead when Sharples battered his way through Chris Cusiter to finish off a multi-phase attack in the corner.
Robinson could not convert but he added a third penalty as Gloucester started to stretch clear.
They dominated territory and possession and made the game safe when lock Brown went over in the same corner as Sharples to leave the Kingsholm faithful in far happier voice at the final whistle than they had been at the mid-point of the game.
Gloucester boss Bryan Redpath: "There have only been two games this year that we have underperformed in.
"Other games we have lost because we have not played well enough.
"Today was about us winning and getting confidence and getting back on track.
"We have had six months of ifs and buts, so I am chuffed how we all got something out of it today."
Glasgow boss Sean Lineen: "It was disappointing that we didn't turn up in the second half. The first half was pretty good.
"The guys just didn't work hard enough and Gloucester didn't have to do that much - there were a couple of soft tries we conceded.
"They were very desperate and got the win."
