Hill is hoping to build on last years' win over Cambridge |
Oxford University's director of rugby Steve Hill is determined his side repeat their 2008 Varsity success at Twickenham later this month. The Dark Blues ran out victors by 33-29 over Cambridge and Hill says he has retained a strong team this year. "We are liable to have ten or eleven guys returning," Hill told BBC Oxford. "What we are aiming to do is to build on what we did last year, which was obviously a fantastic day for the team," he said. "Tim Catling who scored a hat-trick last year is back in the side. He along with our other winger Will Brown have scored 20 tries between them this year. "We certainly want to threaten Cambridge at every opportunity and if we get a chance to get the ball in hand we will certainly use it," said Hill. The Varsity match kicks off at 1400 GMT on Thursday 10 December. BBC Oxford has full commentary of the game at bbc.co.uk/oxford.
