Namibia beat Tunisia to book place at 2011 World Cup

Namibia qualified for the 2011 Rugby World Cup following a 22-10 victory over Tunisia in Windhoek.

The win gave Namibia a 40-23 aggregate success overall, and they will now be in Pool D which includes Wales, South Africa, Fiji and Samoa.

It is the fourth successive time that the Welwitschias have qualified for the showpiece tournament.

Tunisia have another chance to qualify for their first ever World Cup, via the cross-continental play-off next year.


2011 Rugby World Cup draw:

Pool A - New Zealand, France, Tonga, Canada, Asia 1

Pool B - Argentina, England, Scotland, Europe 1, play-off winner

Pool C - Australia, Ireland, Italy, Europe 2, United States

Pool D - South Africa, Wales, Fiji, Samoa, Namibia
