Devon players chosen for England

MacKinder plays for the Exeter Saracens

Two Devon players have been selected in the England Women's U-20s Rugby Union side for the opening match in this year's Nations Cup.

Wing Garnet MacKinder from the Exeter Saracens joins Plymouth Albion prop Charlotte Male, in the England line-up for their first game against Canada.

England go into the Nations Cup tournament as reigning champions, beating Canada in last year's final.

USA and Wales make up the four teams playing at Brunel University in London.

Wales take on the USA in the opening fixture on Thursday at 1700 BST, before England's game against Canada at 1900 BST

The four teams will all play each other once, with the top two progressing to the Nations Cup final on 18 July.
