Coventry Rugby Club have added extra depth to their forwards unit by signing Scott Roberts and Kevin Davis.

Tight-head prop Roberts joins on a two-year deal from Cardiff Blues.

The 24-year-old has plenty of international experience and was part of the all-conquering Wales under-21 squad back in 2005.

Davis is a loose-head prop who has represented England at a number of junior levels and recently won a Blue with Oxford University.

Coventry director of rugby Phil Maynard said: "Scott is a great size and shape as well as being the right age.

"He's in his prime so it's a perfect time for him to be taking his career forward with Coventry.

"Kevin proved his ability to play at this level last year and now he has finished his degree he can totally apply himself to full-time rugby and fulfil his potential with Coventry."
