The Stade de France hosted the 2007 rugby World Cup final

The Stade de France in Paris has been chosen to host the Heineken Cup final in 2010.

The match, which will take place on 22 May, will be the third final to be staged in France.

Bath sank Brive in Bordeaux in 1998 and Leicester beat Stade Francais at the Parc des Princes in Paris in 2001.

"We are delighted the 2010 Heineken Cup final will be played at the magnificent Stade de France," said European Rugby Cup president Jean-Pierre Lux.
