Regan began his career at Bristol in 1991, coming up through the junior ranks. His two spells at the club have spanned almost 10 years Regan is selected for the British Lions tour of South Africa in 1997 and plays in the final Test as the Lions take the series 2-1 Regan joined Bath in 1997 and spent five years at The Rec, with the highlight being the 1998 Heineken Cup triumph over Brive He gets selected in the World Cup winning squad of 2003 and makes an appearance in the group stages but misses out on the final Regan joins Leed Tykes in 2002 and helps them lift the Powergen Cup against Bath at Twickenham in 2005 After missing the World Cup Final in 2003, Regan returns from international retirement to make the 2007 final against South Africa Regan defies his club Bristol and represents the Barbarians, captaining them against South Africa in December 2007 Could his final season in professional rugby could be a sad one as Bristol remain rooted to the bottom of the Premiership?
