Leeds claim captain Mike MacDonald was kicked while on the ground |
Leeds Carnegie head coach Neil Back has once again hit out at the standard of refereeing in National One after Saturday's 15-11 win at Coventry. Leeds claim Coventry lock Carl Burgess kicked Mike MacDonald in the head but went unpunished by referee Rowan Kitt. "For that offence, there is only one decision and he didn't make it," Back told BBC Radio Leeds. "We've got used to that in this division and hopefully we'll be out of that and in the Premiership next year."
Leeds' win at the Butts Park Arena extends their lead at the top of the division to 12 points. However, they missed out on claiming a try-scoring bonus point in the game.
