Esher Rugby manager Dave Page has said it is vital he fields a strong side against Mounts Bay in Saturday's EDF Energy Trophy fourth round tie.
With the weather affecting the sporting calendar, Esher have not played a competitive game since 28 December, a 36-14 defeat at Nottingham.
Page told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "The players have not played for a number of weeks now.
"We feel it's in their best interests to get a game under their belts."
Page is mindful of some tough league fixtures on the horizon.
"With the weather the way it has been, we've really got to go with a side that need a few games under their belts before some big ones coming up against Newbury and Manchester."
And Page is dreaming of a final at at Twickenham.
"It would be very nice, it depends how teams fare and who gets drawn against each other. If Exeter are still challenging Leeds at the top they may not want to progress in the cup. Who knows? It's a great dream isn't it."
