Cardiff flanker signs for Moseley

Rugby ball

Moseley have strengthened their squad for next season by signing back-row forward Adam Whitney from Cardiff.

The 23-year-old flanker made his debut in August 2007 and helped Cardiff finish as runners-up in the Welsh Premiership last season.

Whitney has also represented Wales at Under-16, 18 and 19 levels.

"The signing of Adam gives the squad another number seven with pace and power and provides more options in the back row," head coach Ian Smith said.

Whitney is the fifth player to join Moseley in recent weeks following the arrivals of flanker Alastair Muldowney, fly-half Richard Vasey, centre Andy Reay and prop George Davis.
