Walsham ready for life after drop

North Walsham forwards
North Walsham are outside National League rugby for the first time in 18-years

North Walsham will begin life back in the London Leagues with a trip to Bishop's Stortford.

The Vikings 18-year spell in National League rugby ended when they were relegated from Division Three South.

After opening at Bishop's Stortford on Saturday 13 September Walsham play Hertford at home a week later.

Their longest away trip comes in their third match of the season when the team will fly out for their first ever meeting with newly promoted Jersey.

North Walsham's relegation was confirmed when they lost the penultimate match of last season 52-12 at Ealing.

They will play four fewer league matches next season with just 12 sides in London League One compared to National Three South.
