Cornwall RFU have a new coaching team as they look to return to the top flight of the county game.

Dave Thomas, who led Cornwall to the title in 1991, is joined by Richard Lamb, Ian Morgan and Alan Paver.

They will be hope to bring back the glory days when Cornwall were one of the best sides in the event. They won in 1999 and made the final in 2001.

Cornwall won one of their county shield matches in 2007 as they struggled in the competition's second tier.

They face Oxfordshire at Redruth on Saturday, 3 May. The two sides drew 22-all in the same fixture last season.
