Plymouth Albion suffered their eighth defeat in nine league games as they went down 16-13 at home to Moseley. In wet and blustery conditions, Graham Dawe's troops led 13-3 thanks to Nic Sestaret's try and two penalties and a conversion from Brad Davies. But Moseley hit back through Greg McDonald's accurate kicking and Paul Arnold's winning try. McDonald converted that too to leave Plymouth in a disappointing eighth position in the league standings. Moseley's win eased any lingering relegation worries, lifting them to 12th on 47 points, 18 clear of the bottom club, neighbours Birmingham & Solihull, who have just three games left.
