The North Walsham Vikings face top club Mounts Bay at Scottow on Saturday as they try and avoid relegation.

The departure of outside half Chris Dermody, who has returned to New Zealand, means that Jamie Burroughs is likely to fill in his place.

Jason Applin is hoping to reclaim the number eight shirt after suspension.

Penzance-based professionals Mounts Bay have lost just two games this season, standing eight points clear of second placed Cinderford.

Mounts Bay's Lee Jarvis will be availible for the match, he tops the league's points table with 248 having converted 62 of their 94 tries.

The recent bad weather had left the Scottow first-team pitch virtually unplayable earlier in the week but contingency plans are in hand to move the game to another pitch if necessary.

Kick-off is at 1500 GMT and with no televised rugby a good sized crowd is expected.
