Launceston might just have done enough to avoid relegation
National One's relegation battle between Launceston and Birmingham & Solihull went the way of the Cornish All Blacks at Polson Bridge.

The Cornishmen got off to a good start when right wing Matt Jess darted in from 35 metres to put them 10-0 ahead.

The former Cornish Pirate flyer went over again in the second half to put the All Blacks 17-5 in front.

Fly-half Scott Ireland converted to take Launceston off the bottom of the table and above the Birmingham club.
