Paul O'Connell returned to action with Munster 'A'

Ireland lock Paul O'Connell played 60 minutes for Munster 'A' as they cruised to a 38-5 win over Ulster 'A'.

It was his first action since the start of January but it is too early to know if O'Connell will be fit for Ireland's game against Scotland on 23 February.

Conan Doyle (2), Jake Paringatai, Tomas O'Leary, Darragh Hurley and Tommy O'Donnell scored tries as Munster overpowered the home side.

Paul McKenzie scored the solitary touchdown for Ulster.
