Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney was thrilled with the 31-9 National One win over Plymouth Albion.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's has been a feature of the season. Seventeen points is the top by some distance.

"It shows we are playing pretty good attacking rugby."

And Delaney was also pleased his side shored up their defence. He added: "We had to back up our last week's defensive performance with a better one today.

"Last week we conceded 26 points and this week is was down to nine.

"We focused on a our defence because Plymouth are a good side and we knew we were going to have to defend pretty well."
