London Irish flanker Kieran Roche will be out for at least four weeks following the horrific eye injury he suffered against Perpignan on Saturday. A scan revealed the 33-year-old suffered a fracture to the eye socket and damage to his eye.
Roche has been advised that surgery will not be needed and that his eye should be allowed to settle before a further examination takes place.
Perpignan prop Perry Freshwater was cited for allegedly striking Roche.
French side Perpignan won the Heineken Cup encounter 23-6.
