Fijian Kameli Ratuvou touched down twice as Saracens eased to a 45-15 win over Bristol in the EDF Energy Cup.
Bristol struck early when David Blaney scored the first of his two tries before Ratuvou went over on 33 minutes.
Lock Hugh Vyvyan extended Sarries' lead after the interval and set up flanker Dave Seymour to score under the posts.
Blaney reduced the arrears with his second score but Ratuvou crossed to secure Sarries a bonus point before Andy Kyriacou added a late fifth try.
The game turned in Saracens' favour when Bristol scrum-half Brian O'Riordan was sin-binned for not rolling away at the tackle on the hour.
Fly-half Gordon Ross was in fine form with the boot, kicking 14 points with four penalties and a conversion.
Winger Ratuvou was among a group of players making their first appearances for Saracens since the World Cup, including England centre Andy Farrell.
Saracens director of rugby Alan Gaffney on his growing injury concerns:
"We know we're down to the absolute bones as far as backs are concerned. We just can't afford injuries.
"Kameli was struggling after 20 minutes. He got trodden on and was limping and we thought about bringing him off. But he can score a try or two.
"Last year in the Premiership did him good and I think that was displayed in the World Cup."
Bristol coach Richard Hill:
"There will be a lot of players back for next week.
"We were in the game for 60 minutes and as soon as we had the sin-bin and they got a couple of quick tries it was over.
"The last 20 minutes were a bit of a free run for Saracens."
