What can you say about Jonny Wilkinson?
He was like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, when he has his hand lopped off and keeps coming back again.
He may not be the most exciting guy to listen to but on the field of play he is world-class.
As a scrum-half, I don't think Harry Ellis has done it until this game. But he is sharp, quick on his feet, strong with the shoulder and his pass is good.
What he lacked before was the game awareness, being able to do the right thing at the right time.
But if England had backed him up better, they might have scored a couple more tries.
England don't want to get carried away. It wasn't a huge Scottish performance, but the key for England was to win.
I don't think the intensity was there at times. It is brilliant to get this start, playing Scotland and then Italy at home. But I am not sure if it will be the right build-up to play Ireland in Dublin.
To be brutally honest, you look at Scotland and wonder how they are going to score tries.
The pack isn't strong enough and their midfield is lacking in pace. They might scrape a win against Italy but if they don't improve their skills and get fitter, they are not going to do anything against anyone else.
It was a great performance by England.
They have got the confidence back and they played with a lot of authority, putting a bit of width on the ball.
The main improvement was in their basic skills which were far better, and the rest flows from that.
When you play a side like Scotland, who don't create much, you know they are not going to score many points so you can attack and throw caution to the wind.
I thought Harry Ellis was brilliant. With his awareness and his breaks, he was explosive and had a tremendous game. He was clearly man-of-the-match for me.
I can't believe Donal Courtney gave Jonny that try. It was an unbelievable decision. He should be demoted and the next international taken away from him.
But for Jonny to come back as he did and walk off the pitch at the end - that was the main thing, wasn't it?
The Scots weren't great, they played to their strengths, but they have got no confidence at keeping the ball.
They have got to have more self-belief and create a bit more. It is not just at stand-off, there is no great creativity or pace in the centres either.
Obviously the TMO was delighted Jonny was back as well!
Jonny was almost embarrassed about it, because that was never a try. I just don't see how he could have given it.
I thought it was a very solid performance by England without doing anything too dramatic
Rob Dewey came on for Scotland and he has got a bit of creativity about him, but unfortunately there are not many others.
You can't just ask Chris Paterson to jump from the wing, where he plays for Edinburgh, to stand-off and produce miracles.
