Eddie O'Sullivan has been buoyed by the Test victories |
Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan was delighted after Sunday's 61-17 rout of the Pacific Islands completed a treble of autumn Test victories. "Eight tries is not a bad way to say goodbye to Lansdowne Road," he said.
"At times it was a bit fractious but it is always like that against the Pacific Islands.
"We've got as much out of the games as we could so it's been a pretty good month - three very good performances and three very good wins."

O'Sullivan believes the game's turning point came when his team met force with force.
"There were nine changes to the team, it took a while to gel and maybe we were a bit too smart out there instead of being more direct," he said.
"Once we became more direct we were quite successful.
"We got off to a flyer but started to step off so it was question of getting into them and standing up to them more, being more physical and instead of taking the hits we gave them out.

"Once we did that we were back in the game again."
O'Sullivan described Paddy Wallace's performance as "outstanding" and the man-of-the-match was more than satisfied with his 26-point haul on his first international start.
"It was a good day at the office for me," said the Ulster fly-half.
"I'm delighted - I've worked hard with my coach on my goal-kicking over the past four weeks and it's paid off today.
"I'm coming into a winning team with a lot of confidence.
"So it was easy for me with Shane (Horgan) and Brian (O'Driscoll) taking a lot of pressure off me - I was lucky to have them today.
"It was also great to be involved in the send-off to Lansdowne Road. It was very emotional out there at the end and I was privileged to be part of it."
