Irish climb to third in rankings

Brian O'Driscoll's Ireland side are flying high in the world rankings
Ireland are up to third in the latest International Rugby Board rankings, their highest position for three years.

Eddie O'Sullivan's side climb above Australia and South Africa following Sunday's 21-6 win over the Wallabies.

England remain seventh despite ending a seven-Test losing sequence by defeating the Springboks 23-21 at Twickenham.

World Cup favourites New Zealand remain way out in front, almost nine points clear of second-placed France, with Scotland eighth and Wales ninth.
