New Zealand coach Graham Henry said England performed well despite losing 41-20 to his team, a record margin of defeat for the home side at Twickenham. "England played well," Henry told BBC Sport. "They were quite impressive and deserved to get those (three) tries."
Henry added that he was "very pleased" with the All Blacks' display.
"The guys played some very good football at times. To come away with a win at Twickenham, you've always got to enjoy that," he said.
But if Henry had words of encouragement for England, New Zealand fly-half Dan Carter, who scored 26 points for the visitors, warned that the All Blacks would improve on their autumn tour of Europe.
"I'm pleased we scored some good tries as it has been a while since we played together," said Carter. "To come away with that result was very pleasing.
"England came out after half-time and put a couple of tries on us but today we took a step up.
"As the tour goes on we will improve. We are short of our best form but there is room for improvement and throughout the week we will work on ways to improve."
Henry said he was pleased with the way the All Blacks conquered what has recently been one of their biggest weaknesses - the line-out.
"The line-out was the best it has been for a long time," he said. "The scrum was dominant on both their and our ball."
