Aussies unhappy with Wales draw
Australia full-back Chris Latham tries to break through the Wales defence as captain Phil Waugh looks on
Man-of-the-match Chris Latham was a constant threat for Australia
Australia captain Phil Waugh lamented the way his side surrendered a 17-6 lead as Wales hit back to claim a 29-29 draw at the Millennium Stadium.

"We are very disappointed," Waugh said. "We started the game how we wanted to play but we went away from that.

"The Welsh punished us for our mistakes and full credit to them.

"But we let ourselves down losing that scrum at the end. It is simple things like that we will have to go away and work on."

Man-of-the-match Chris Latham, who scored the Wallabies' fourth try in an outstanding individual display, was also disappointed at the final scoreline.

"We are disappointed, because we came over here wanting to win all seven games," he said.

"It doesn't feel good, but it is not as disappointing as a loss either. We have to look at our games individually and go from there."
