The talented Pietersen is a South Africa Under-21 international |
South Africa full-back JP Pietersen will make his Springbok debut in the final match of the 2006 Tri-Nations against Australia on Saturday. The 20-year-old is the only personnel change to the side that recorded a surprise 21-20 win over champions New Zealand in Rustenburg last weekend.
Jaque Fourie moves from full-back to outside centre while centre Wynand Olivier replaces wing Bryan Habana.
Habana is out after being concussed during the All Blacks contest.
Fourie played full-back last week but has played most of the Tri-Nations at centre.
"Wynand was part of the team that won last weekend, so it would have been a bit unfair to leave him out," said coach Jake White.

"It is a bit of a gamble playing him on the wing, but he understands how we want to play having spent a lot of time at number 13.
"That's what coaching is all about - you can't just keep trying the same things, you need to look to improve.
"It's important more players get to buy into what we are trying to do."
Veteran prop Os Du Randt is in the team despite sitting out training during the week.
South Africa's win last weekend was their first of this year's competition and they will be hoping that their impressive record at Johannesburg's Ellis Park will help them end the campaign on a high. Australia have not won there since 1963.
"Our preparations are a little more positive this week, even though we won by just one point," said skipper John Smit.
"It hasn't been about picking the guys up from another defeat, but rather about keeping the energy going."
