Sale have completed the signing of fly-half Daniel Larrechea from Bayonne on a two-year contract. Sale director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre said: "Daniel is currently rated as one the best fly halves in France.
"I am absolutely delighted to secure his signature in the face of stiff competition in France.
"In many ways he is a very similar player to Charlie Hodgson and therefore will be an ideal addition with Charlie likely to miss games on England duty."
