Back hopeful of Lions tour place
Leicester flanker Neil Back
Back is expected to take up a coaching role next season
Former England flanker Neil Back has said he hopes to earn a place on his third British and Irish Lions tour despite his international retirement.

The 36-year-old Leicester player worked with Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward for England and is already doubling up as Leicester's defensive coach.

"Having retired from internationals last year my focus has been entirely on Leicester as a player and coach.

"If the Lions selectors believe I fit into their plans, I'll go," he said.
